Leading Men of 2011

We’re barely into 2011 yet we’ve already seen the Golden Globe Awards and the nominations for the Brit Awards. A busy time in the land of celebrity, but also for the paparazzi, gossip columns, newspapers etc as well. With this in mind it’s hard to miss ‘who’s hot’ and ‘who’s not’ at the moment – especially in the male department.
Colin Firth
..Is all-over every magazine/newspaper/blog at the moment for his role in ‘The Kings Speech’. Not only this, he has also just bagged himself ‘Best Actor’ at the Golden Globe awards. A very popular man right now – everybody wants to know what he’s up to. Could this see a return of the Classic English Gent look?

Tinie Tempah
Quite the opposite of Colin Firth, but Tinie has led the way in this year’s Brit Award’s nominations, scooping four: British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single and MasterCard British Album of the Year. This time last year Tinie was barely known yet now, less than a year on, it seems we can’t get enough of him.

David Gandy
You may not recognise the name, but you’ve most probably seen the face, and who could forget the body! David is best known for his advert for Dolce & Gabbana’s fragrance ‘Light Blue’ (the one with those white speedos on a boat). He is also the first male ever to be nominated for the ‘British Fashion Awards Model of the Year’ and is being touted as the first male supermodel Male models don’t tend to be as famous as the girls, but David Gandy has mastered it, as well as launching an incredibly popular male styling app, making him a definite leading male of 2011. So, t we’re bound to see more of him over the the coming months ...not that we’re complaining!

So, only three weeks into 2011 and already three leading men come to the fore. Who else would you tip to be top in 2011.
