Give it some lip

Have you returned fresh from the Festive holiday full of life and hope for the new year? Or have those long winter walks, nights out in the cold and excessive sugar taken their toll on your lips? If its the latter, not to worry, the Keep Me Inspired team have the solutions to get those smackers back to their former glory.

Extreme weather conditions and drink, as well as a rich diet of Christmas Food, can cause lips to dry out, crack and peel. Not the look everyone desires after a holiday. So lets start with the basics, if you are in pain with dry cracked lips some of the best solutions are those that have been around for years such as Carmex. This will aid the healing process of cracked sore lips, other than that applying Vaseline every 5 minutes is not the solution.

Vaseline is a barrier and prevents loss of moisture, this is perfect to put on top of something like Carmex to stop it from escaping from the lips, but left to its own devices Vaseline can cause more problems, especially when you stop using it, you may see that your lips end up being dry once again.

Balms and salves are the best types of products to keep your lips soft and moisturised. You can also remove any flaky skin with a towel or gently with a tooth brush. Then apply your balm or salve.

We love our LP Skin Therapy Refining Lip Exfoliator, which helps rid your smackers of the flaky skin and keep them smooth and totally kissable!

Our Lip Rescue Gel gently calms the lips but also plumps them giving a smooth gorgeous finish.

Don't hide those lips behind a tea mug or your hand, it is so simple to rescue and make sure you drink enough water every day, they could simply be dehydrated.

Mwah!
