Autumn Chic

It’s almost coming close to that time of year where we have to re-pack our summer wardrobes for another year (sniff)! The only thing guaranteed to make us feel better is knowing we can start spending on autumn’s  knew knitwear, coats and other snugly layers.

We’ve had a little scout about for what’s hot in this autumn and he popular must haves for the season that you’ll love, but your bank balance will hate!

The three main trends for Autumn / Winter seem to be: Boy-Girl, Heritage Chick and Animal Prints.

Boy-Girl
Menswear for women is a dominant trend this Autumn/Winter; Vogue quote Stella McCartney as a key inspiration. Therefore this season we’ll be fighting the boys for their wardrobes!

We're really pleased that we can still wear our favourite Boyfriend Blazers, but if you've not yet invested, we like this one from ASOS.

We also love these Miffin Black Biker Boots from Topshop £36

And to add a hint of colour to the shortening autumn days, we like these Great Plains Khaki Trousers from Coggles.com

Heritage Chick
British heritage designs and fabrics are definitely in at the moment. For this trend invest in countryside classics such as tartan and mannish jackets.

Tall Chocolate Brown Hunter Wellies
Coggles.com - £70

Asos Heritage Coat
Asos.com - £100

Vaduz Taupe Tassle Loafers
Topshop - £30

Mini Check Backpack

Wild Things
Animal prints are a must have this autumn. Leopard print is everywhere however snakeskin and gorilla-like furry jackets are also popular, which is great as we LOVE them. These prints are also appearing in some suprising colours -  our favourite is leopard print going all black and white on us.

We love this Mango Coloured Leopard Dress - perfect from going from office to evening!

Animal Print Lady Handbag
River Island - £40
