Winter Weddings

Although we're all getting ready for the Christmas period, mine will be especially exciting this year as I am attending a winter wedding on Boxing Day. Not only will it be my birthday (shameless plug) but I will be spending it with lots of close friends to celebrate a great mates wedding.

Now I have a conundrum a)what do I wear b)what make up shall I use

Winter weddings are quite rare as most will prefer to capture the summer sun if possible. I love the idea of a winter wedding, especially if it snows. I know the Bride is counting down the days and has opted for a real festive theme with red and green decorations.

So starting with the basics, body care, we all love to treat ourselves and make the most of a special occasions. Treatments I have personally line up include Teeth Whitening, Eyelash Extensions and Hair Colouring. It may seem a bit extreme but these will last the whole festive period. 

Fake tan? Do I? Don't I? It maybe the uniform of hundreds of summer wedding attendees but should I go natural and "English Rose" to the wedding?  Before I even attempt to self tan, I like to give my skin a good scrub and layer on the moisturiser, this stops any dry patches attracting the tan. 

I really like Palmer's Cocoa Butter Self Tan, its very natural and doesn't streak.

For Make up I'm thinking Hollywood glamour 1950s style. Clear skin, minimal eye's with dark eyeliner and a rouge lipstick. Keep it simple and classy.

Now here is my major issue, what to wear. I don't want to go too over the top, but still want to look like a Winter belle!

I was considering a large full length skirt with a cute sweater a la Jessica Sarah Parker, or maybe some Sequin trousers. It's a difficult one, you want to be warm, especially if you are sat in a church, but not too relaxed. I'm having real issues with this one and only 17 days left. 

So, if anyone has any ideas for my Winter Wedding outfit, I would love to hear your suggestions!
