Did you over do it last night? Feeling a little bloated or worse for wear this morning? If you've had your fill of Turkey and Pumpkin pie, but are left with food and drinks that could feed your work office and all their families, do not despair! Keep Me Inspired have created a range of DIY beauty treatments you can create using your Thanksgiving left overs! So today is all about you!

Praise the Pumpkin!

If you have pumpkin left over or can pick one up, here is a great home made facial mask you can make, all you need is:

2 teaspoons of cooked pumpkin

1/2 teaspoon of honey

1/4 teaspoon of milk

Mix it together and apply to the face, then leave for 15 minutes. Pumpkin contains amazing nutrients such as AHA fruit acids which helps remove dead skin and Vitamin A which helps combat those fine lines and wrinkles.

Craving Cranberries

Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without Cranberry sauce smothered all over the Turkey.

Cranberries are incredible fruits. They are packed with antioxidants, they are great for treating water infections and fantastic on oily skin.

Here is a simple recipe for a home made Cranberry lip gloss, you will need:

1 tablespoon of almond oil

10 Fresh Cranberries

1 teaspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly

Mix all the ingredients together and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, stir well and gently mash the cranberries, the let it rest for 5 minutes. Finally sieve the mixture to take out any lumps of cranberry, stir and allow to cool. Then finally spoon into a clean pot! Hey presto! Your own, home made natural cranberry lip gloss! Amazing!

Thank goodness for Thanksgiving, it really is a great time of year, and you can use all the left overs to your advantage and make some gorgeous natural beauty treats!
