There is nothing quite like a fresh faced, rosy cheeked English rose. Here at Keep Me Inspired we're taking stock of the best cosmetics to provide you with that natural rosy look which is very on trend this winter. Think Hollywood and 1950s glamour and you are halfway there.
Back in the day, women would simply pinch their cheeks to attain that rosy look. Today, luckily we don't have to stand around harming ourselves in the name of beauty because there are some fantasic blushers and cheek stains on the market.
All great beauty routines start with the basics, cleansing and moisturising. Washing your face with a scrub cleanses deeply and naturally brings a glow to your face due to the action of the mini exfoliating scrubbers, which bring the blood to the surface of the skin. This is the first step to a natural glow. After exfoliating make sure you apply a daily moisturiser, this will sink into the skin and provide a great base to apply makeup.
We're loving Boots No. 7 Beautifully Matt Foundation. Total coverage for that smooth doll like complexion, which can be highlighted with the clever use of blusher and stain. This foundation covers pores and controls the oil in your skin- a must for those with combination and oily skin.
Top of the Cheek stain chart is Benetint from Benefit, this fantastic light stain can be used on cheeks and lips and looks so beautifully natural. Paint 3 dashes on your cheek like cats whiskers and gently rub into the cheek for that rosy glow.

Bobbi Brown offers an array of cheek sticks to complement your skin colouring.

If you are on a budget try Models Own Lip and Cheek Tint, for a fabulous rosy glow.

Finally to finish off the look, a slick of eyeliner on the eye lids, mascara and either a nude lipstick or gloss for the day, or a deep red for the night!
We love English roses!
