Lashes to die for

On Saturday one of the team ventured to a lovely little beauty clinic to have some false eyelash extensions. They had never had this procedure done before, well we say procedure, treatment would be the correct word. Many of the girls in the Keep Me Inspired office look like models every single day they come in, so, as it's Christmas some of us have a wedding to attend and have booked a range of treatments to transform ourselves into glamour pusses.
At the clinic you are taken into a calm room and laid out on a bed. First things first, the beauticians wax your eyebrows and tint your lashes.
Then they move onto the actual eyelash extension. There are an array of eyelashes on offer including party lashes and natural looking eyelashes in varying lengths. The beauticians simply place some glue on the natural eyelashes and attach the extensions one by one, creating a very glamorous or natural look.

Eyelash extensions provide an incredible result, especially if you are not naturally blessed with long lashes.
There are a list of do's and don'ts when it comes to treatments like this. For the first 24 hours you cannot touch or get the lashes wet or near any steam. They suggest not wearing mascara and if you do, you need an oil free eye makeup remover.
So, washing the face and taking off makeup is going to be tricky of the next 6 weeks but hey, you will have amazing eyelashes!!!!
