We love all things red in the UK. From red phone boxes to tomato ketchup, but Red Nose Day beats them all! It is a day like no other when the whole country joins forces to do something funny for money and change countless lives in the process. A charity day which has been running for years and has always been a great success. From donning red noses, dressing up in red, adding a red nose to the car or even using Gordon Ramsays special Tomato Sauce on your dinner, specially created for Comic Relief- all for a great cause!
Red Nose Day is your chance to transform the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa. From restoring the sight of children in Africa to giving isolated older people in the UK the support they need to enjoy their lives – your cash can do all this and much, much more.
If you tuned in on Comic Relief day Friday March 18th you would have seen a host of top tv presenters and entertainers from the world of showbiz - Angela Rippon, Take That, Lenny Henry, James Corden to Jonathan Ross all hosting this fantastic TV extravaganza. Money raised so far has been a whopping...wait for it... £74,360,207! Wow!
KMI Club didn't want to feel left out in raising money on this amazing national charity day. The team joined forces with a colleague called Steve Mallett, Sales Director at Curtis who were raising money for Comic Relief. For every KMI Club staff member who wore red on Friday18th, Steve kindly donated £10 per person towards the charity. All in all Curtis raised £1000 and even hosted a cake sale at their office. Well done Curtis and thanks to all the KMI Club team members who took part! A fantastic day had by all and money raised going to a great cause.
